Disney Infinity:Infinite Possibilities Book New Release Date

According to Amazon.com, the Disney Infinity:Infinite Possibilities Book now has a release date of October 15th. I received an email from Amazon.com letting me know the new release date and the new date shows up on Their website for the product.

For people that read too fast, this new release date is for the companion book not the game.

as the date keeps getting pushed back i guess that means that the first six play sets will be released before then.

the frustrating thing is this publication has probably already been printed and there are lots sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

Just this morning, the Disney Infinity: Infinite Possibilities Book release date was pushed back from August 18 to October 15. Now, there could many reasons for the switch, some I don't even want to think about. One possibility is that this book had info about playsets that were scheduled for a wave two release( it mentioned 6 playsets in the summary), and they didn't want too much info of these playsets being leaked to the publc. Another, very unlikely possibility is that Disney Infinity will be delayd a second time, but don't worry, this is highly unlikely(like, less than 1%). It's also possible that Amazon just made a mistake with the date in switching it. The final possibility is that Disney might just want to see the reaction of the product( Disney Infinity) before releasing the book, to make sure it will sell. What do you guys think about this delay?

I think they pushed the date back for the book release to accommodate the 5th and 6th playsets release dates.

^ If they pushed it back to accommodate the other playsets, then it would be hinting that they would be releasing in mid- October. I assumed it would be closer to Christmas, but earlier's better! Also, there will be one more playset to be announced for launch other than Cars, the developer John V.( just going to use that, I really don't know how to spell his last name) said this in a video I watched. I'll try to find the link.

Is it possible that Infinity will be a launch title on Xbox One?...

It could be but I wouldn't expect anything more than a prettier 360 version. That's if they are even developing for it.

Infinity's coming to XboxOne. Read that yesterday. I'll find the source later.

^ Just did a quick google search and it looks like StitchKingdom ran the article that it may be coming to Xbox One, but now it has disappeared. I suppose that it could be an E3 announcement. We'll have to wait and see.

Anyway back on topic, I'm a little disappointed that this is delayed but as I won't be using until I finish each play set anyway, mainly to find collectibles, it's not the end of the world.
