Loved Oz: The Great And Powerful, it was a fab movie. It's very in keeping with The Wizard Of Oz in terms of tone and pacing, so it might seem a little slow when compared with some modern films, but I think that will add to making it feel timeless, like the original. The witches were all amazing and the scenery is gorgeous.
If there's a Wicked Witch in the game I will be playing as her at every available opportunity, letting out evil witchy laughter every time I strike down enemies. I agree that magic could work in the game - some witches use wands, others fire energy from their hands, but it could always be treated like a weapon and be made an equippable feature.
Frankenweenie, on the other hand, I haven't seen yet, since it came out in the cinema shortly after my cat passed away and I couldn't really face it. But I got the DVD through a Disney Movie Rewards limited time offer, so I might watch it over the weekend. That does look like the adorable Sparky between Vanellope and Violet, and if he gets a figure that would indicate that other four-legged creatures would be possible as playable characters, rather than just as mounts (fingers crossed for The Lion King playset!)
I mean, this is all assuming they get figures, and aren't just NPCs. But so far the only NPCs on the promotional material are those that come included in playsets, not random ones from the Toy Box, so here's hoping.
Can I ask, where are these pictures from? I looked through the Stitch Kingdom archives and couldn't find the post, but I'm guessing from the Monster's University merch that it's a toy fair?
