Well, at least my playsets do SOMETHING.

This is really useful, thanks for sharing! I didn't know about the 1.0 playset pieces unlocking their respective toys for 2.0, that's cool. Do we know about the toys unlocked by 1.0 figures? Like the toy box chests and the playset chests/vaults associated with each 1.0 figure. Are those unlocks tied to our online Disney Infinity ID or to the figures themselves? Will we be able to get those unlocks in 2.0? (My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, there's so much information being trickled out that it's hard to keep track.)

The character toys for 1.0 characters are also present in 2.0. You can buy them using Sparks. I don't know if you can unlock them immediately using the figures, since I haven't tried it yet, but they're there.

Thank you so much for the reply, I really appreciate it, and it's awesome to know they'll all be in the game again. It'll be a shame if I have to buy them with sparks after already unlocking them in 1.0 but at the same time that'll give me an excuse to play more!

Since I don't have the first game none of the compatibility stuff affects me much. I do know, however, that I should be more selective of which DI 1.0 playsets I get, because with no level it's all based on the figurines.

So, you can buy 1.0 toys in the 2.0 toy box using sparks? Will I be able to buy toys from 1.0 from play sets that I never bothered to buy? I never bought the Lone Ranger play set. WIll I be able to access the Lone Ranger toys in 2.0 without having bought the Lone Ranger play set?

Hey guys, I am new so please be kind.

This may be a stupid question but here goes. I have never played Disney Infinity before, I currently own a PS3 & PS4 & I am looking to buy disney infinity. The question I have is would I be able to play with Characters such as Mike Wazowski, Woody, Buzz, Jack Sparrow on PS4? I am a big fan of the pixar films. Or would I only be able to play with the Marvel Characters etc.

@dnamertz yes you will be able to buy 1.0 toys and playset toys in 2.0 with sparks.

@jasonbromham yes you will be able to play with all 1.0 figures in 2.0. You won't be able to play any of the Marvel playsets with non-Marvel characters but you can play with all the characters in the toy box.
