Retail stores are receiving Disney Infinity 2.0 Packs

I really hope they have improved the paint job quality for 2.0 it's the thing I hate most about infinity. The sloppy paint jobs. And who you order it's a lottery will it be good or bad.

I'm really surprised to hear most of you think the 1.0 paints jobs were sloppy. Maybe I'm just incredibly lucky but in my entire 1.0 collection I can only notice 2 minor niggles (a slight mark on Woody's face and lone ranger having a bit of a blurry eye) and the rest are top notch. And these were all ordered online where I couldn't pre-check the boxes to find the ones with the best paint jobs too. I guess I'll count myself very lucky then.

I have to agree though that the 2.0 figures are looking to set a new standard. Not just from manufacturing, but from a design perspective too, 2.0 feels on a whole other level.

^ I have to agree with you, Miek. I've never really "inspected" my figures that closely until I saw the post about the Toy Story in Space figures. All of my figures look really good to me, the only noticable thing is that Woody's base is much darker than Jessie and Buzz, and if you look closely, there is a little white mark on Jessie's hat, and Woody's badge's paint is a little off.. But other than that, all of my figures seem to have no mistakes. I got about 3/4 of them online, too (Amazon to be exact)!

Getting back on topic.. I'm getting more and more excited for launch.. I think I figured out my plan for when I get it. First, I'll unbox everything; second, I'll open up the Toy Box and check out the Skill Trees; third, place down all of my old set pieces (free rewards!) and one of my magicbands; and lastly, get started in the Spider-Man Playset.

I pre-ordered the Official Game Guide (Prima) that tells me the location of all of the green capsules/ crossover coins, so I'll be sure to get ALL of them! I'm waiting until Hulk is released to start in the Avengers' set... With school, I probably won't have much time to play except on the weekends!

@Charlee That's the first thing I asked when they announced 2.0. I got pretty lucky though...Anna has a spot on her dress and Buzz has a spot on his butt. But overall my figures all have good paint jobs. I spent an hour choosing between all the Rapunzel's...she is the only one I really cared about being perfect.

These pictures make me even more excited for the 23rd I can't wait to pickup my starter pack and rocket raccoon
