Retail stores are receiving Disney Infinity 2.0 Packs

I can't believe that ones made it up on eBay. I saw the pics of boxes on shelves but thought that like the figures it would reject being scanned at the register and wouldn't make it out of the store. And they're trying to make a 300% profit on it? Wow. Just wow.

People on Ebay will do anything
I tried to get D23 Mickey last year so I could have Mickey before January.
Decided that I would just wait till January, because the D23 figures were at $500.

Besides, $300 when you could just wait 21 days?
Terrible deal. Imagine how horrible you would feel on the 23rd, now that everyone plays it for $75 and you play for $300.
Not to mention, that isn't the collector's Edition since it is Xbox.

I'm slightly angered that some people are able to buy it this early, and disappointed in Disney Interactive for allowing it to happen. Sending out units 3 weeks early, really? I feel like everything is going to be known about this game weeks before launch. It seems I need to avoid this and certain other sites just to keep a few surprises left in the game.

I'm sorry but I want someone to buy it. I just wanna see the characters! Plus I can play with them on Xbox one! I hope it's sells soon...

I hope there's no one crazy enough out there to spend that much rather than wait a couple more weeks. If the seller wasnt so greedy and just put it up as say $100-$125 it would have sold by now, I'm pretty sure if Disney gets wind of the auction they will have ebay remove it. The store that has sold it early could risk a hefty fine if they get found out.

It's been reported that 2.0 has been placed out on some U.S. TRU shelves already. Way ahead of the scheduled release date of the 23rd.
While you are able to pick up the products, take pics of them.. drool on them. You cannot purchase them.. supposedly. The registers are supposed to throw up an error to the cashier not to sell the item yet. But, accidents will happen!

I'm just glad it's been sent out. I want no excuses. I want everything on the day of release.

I reported the ebayed starter pack and they had it removed and hopefully are tracing it back
To whatever retailer sold it.

Normally when things are accidentally put out early the register rejects it and it never gets sold early. That didn't work in this instance apparently.

Well, to be honest...we're assuming that starter pack was acquired 'legally.'
