Disney Infinity 2.0 Announce Trailer Revisited

Sorry if this was brought up earlier or elsewhere. Has anybody rewatched the announce trailer recently? At 1:21 we see Loki with Modoc. I had always assumed Modoc would make an appearance in the Avengers play set. But in the army they are leading there are Frost Giants AND Sacaarans. The Sacaarans are from the Guardians of the Galaxy play set. So are they also in the Avengers play set, or is Modoc a playable character?

Also it has turned out that all the other characters in that trailer are playable.

Well I don't think that Modoc is going to be a playable character because that would make it 8 characters for the Avengers Play Set and I don't think Modoc would be easy to handle. But it has been confirmed that Modoc is in the Avengers Play Set, teaming up with Loki.

I'm not saying he's not in the Avengers play set, the video doesn't seem to be taken from the Avengers play set. It has been insinuated that there will be more Marvel characters, and that all Marvel characters are tied to a play set. So either the play sets will get more figures, or there will be more play sets. If he isn't playable, that's one cool NPC in the toy box.

Modok would be a cool figure, however considering he is constricted to his floating chair I don't really see the practicality. He wouldn't be able to use any vehicles or packs

I honestly think we will be getting a Mysterio figure and possibly Thanos.

If I had to guess, I'd say Mysterio and Modoc are going to be support characters for the playsets, and not figures. That being said, I don't recall seeing any Mysterio or Modoc cast members in the toybox, where as there were some for Power Man, White Tiger, The Collector, and other playset support characters, so who knows! We do need at least two more figures to get that "Over 20" Marvel count...

Doc Ock and Mysterio have roles in the Spider-Man playset, but aren't playable.

@Stitch Thanos has a good chance of being a character later on down the line due to the rising popularity of the guardians of the galaxy franchise.

^ Thanos also has potential as a crossover character with the Avengers, not only is he featured in the comics but also should be making a cameo in the next Avengers movie.
