more character figures coming?!

Would it be completely crazy of them to put Princess Leia in DI 2.0 as the rumored "Disney" Princess? Think about it. They said 2015 is not so far far away anymore. She could be that figure and come out early 2015 as a preview for what's to come. Granted, it's a little unlikely, but it could happen right?

Oh jmob22 I didn't even think about a star wars figure for 2.0 but what you said has me thinking. I do doubt it though as they would most likely save her for a star wars edition. It would indeed be a huge surprise figure

I thought of that, but figured they would wait until fall of 2015 to coincide with the new movie.

But, depending on what they're planning playset-wise, maybe they're not going to have an original trilogy playset. In which case, Princess Leia could be released at any point.

I'm not saying that WILL happen, in fact I would be disappointed if there isn't an original trilogy playset of some kind, but I'm saying it IS in the realm of possibilities.

Considering she would be awesome, and that a lot of the other princesses don't make a lot of sense alone, and that they did already have a Star Wars thing in 1.0, I'd say the chances are slightly higher, though still improbable

I don't think we would see Leia without Han or Luke.
While she is definitely a princess she isn't the focal point of Star Wars unlike all the other princesses.
So we either get a single character that doesn't fit with much of this game or they add a load of Star Wars content which I think would be silly for Leia only.

Though I guess for a single character that doesn't fit with most of the content we did get Stitch and Cars characters.

It would just be smart marketing to release her with the rest in 3.0. I also don't think JV would deem her a Disney Princess.

@Romulus77 he considered Vanellopie a Disney princess, but it's still a far fetched idea. Was hoping for Leia with R2-D2 as a tag team ( Leia grabs on to R2 to fly )

If they did release her it would only be to tease what's to come later, like they did with the lightsaber. But can you imagine the publicity they would get from doing that? I'm sure if they did have some sort of Star Wars playset later on she would be included, or at least I would hope so. R2-D2 as an extra like the lightsaber was would be cool!
