Looking at the list posted by CCRunner524, it seems more like each playset has 2 crossovers, instead of two crossover characters from each playset.

^Cool, but actually Nova can go in the Avengers playset too. Him and Iron Man can going every announced playset.

Spider-Man cannot go into the avengers playset that's Nova

It's clearly stated on the Disney infinity official site that Nova is not playable in the avengers play set and Spider-man is.

^ the official site does not say Spider-Man can crossover it's been widely known for months now that nova crosses over to avengers. Someone who works for avalanche has already listed each character for each playset in the previous page.

I'll admit that I am wrong about spider-man and I will fix my list, but the official site still states nova can only be used in the guardians of the galaxy and spider-man play set. The chart I made is based on the info on the official site and if/when the website updates or box art showing Nova can be played in the Avengers play set I will adjust the chart accordingly.
