@Romulus77 Thanks. That covers a bit apart from the confusion surrounding Nova. I love how one of the later pages even has the same video I posted with similar confusion XD

Ok. Is using crossover characters required to complete that Playset, I would assume iron man would because virtually EVERYONE will have him.

Iron Man makes sense in the Guardians playset. So does Nova. Nova in the Avengers playset, even from a comic book nerd like me's perspective makes little sense. Makes even LESS sense if Spider-Man isn't a crossover character since he actually IS an Avenger. Any of the Guardians in the Avengers' set is shaky at best. They've got little overlap in the comics, but they do appear in a couple of episodes of the cartoon. If you do that, might as well make Venom playable in the Guardians playset. He's on the current team in the comic anyway......

The reason I thought they went with Nova originally was because they wanted you to be able to cross over into other playsets without needing to purchase another character, then Rocket was announced as a crossover and I also remembered that Spider-Man was in that starter. I cannot think of a reason as to why they chose Nova over Spider-Man. Making him a crossover into the Avengers set makes only marginally more sense that Venom, any of the other 3 Spider-Man characters would have made sense. Anyways the official website is updated in saying that Nova is playable in the Avengers set.

I wish they could update the crossover compatibility, like Venom is in the GOG now, but if they print the icons for compatibility on the box, that's moot.

Flash Thompson aka Agent Venom is in GotG, the Venom in Disney Infinity is Harry Osborn from Ultimate Spiderman. I'm hoping with Nova's crossover into the other playsets that Marvel might be working on adding Nova to the Marvel movies. The Nova Corp was in the Guardians movie.

We'll if you want to get real technical, the Nova that is an ally of the GOTG isn't the same character as the teenage Nova in Ultimate Spider-Man either

That being said the older Nova was an Avenger for awhile
