Disney Infinity 2.0 crossover characters

I apologize if this has been covered....I tried to search and found nothing.
I am trying to find out which figures will work in which play sets.
I have heard some figures like Nick Fury and Iron Man will work in other play sets than the ones they are intended for.
I heRd Ironman will also work on the Guardians play set Nd Fury will work on the Avengers.
Is this confirmed! Is there a compatibility list for the figures?

So nick fury cannot be played in avengers play set like originally reported.

As of now they haven't 'officially' announced that he can. It's still possible.

He's a mission giver in that set, so I can see why he wouldn't be playable.

JV said on Twitter that Marvel did not want him to appear as a playable character.
It wouldn't make sense, yes, but you can fight as Ronan against Ronan in GOTG.

Is rocket the only crossover from GOTG I thought they said there was two crossover characters from each playset. Or did they mean each playset has 2 crossovers.

That helps guys. Thanks. It's an improvement over my #1 issue on the first game......just wish there was still more cross-play set compatibility. But I'll take it.
