No Gravity Falls Figures are coming to 2.0

Oops sorry Sheriff, but the Gravity Falls power discs still seem cool, it's a start at least

Bumping the thread to ask a question.

It occurs to me that if we want GF figures in 3.0, the time to let the team know is now. What if we put a twitter thing together? Just tweet to Jonny V and the Disney Infinity account with a tag named something like #GFforDI, let them know what we want? Would that be something you guys would be interested in?

I wouldn't say now is the time for a twitter campaign. 2.0 isn't out yet and they haven't revealed everything we're getting for it.

That Facebook survey with Tink, Merida, etc was from March. So I don't think there's any need to rush.

Yeah, but at the same time, strike while the iron is hot and all that. The disappointment over the lack of figures is still relatively fresh, so I thought now might be a good time to get the GF fandom involved.

I just think it'll get lost in the noise of announcements, release, and all that.

You know what I think would be a good way to do it? When the game comes out and the GF discs are available, make a GF Toy Box with the Dipper and Mabel townspeople and add in the new text boxes asking "Where are our figures?" You could do a bunch of different shots inside and outside the Mystery Shack, in front of the sign, at the big footprint thing, with the gnomes, etc.

It would show that you support the game AND want the figures.

Just my two cents based on what I heard at summit. If you are going to campaign it needs to be the next time DI says "What figures do you want to see in the game?" Because it sounded like Aladdin and Jasmine were selected based on the responses to that question this last time. So next time they ask bombard them with Gravity Falls requests.

The shack looks sweet in play though. So does the sky, texture, and of course kitten fists.
