There is a on and off for the base. It's the "in" symbol in the very front. Just push it for desired effect

@mirgare i don't know what model of the stand i have then as in the pic i posted there isn't a IN symbol no switch on the unit either :S

It is a touch sensitive switch, not a button. Just press on the front where the hex shape is located.

I am getting mine tomorrow but doesn't it look like there seriously should have been an 'IN' logo in that 'hex touch switch' area? And before someone says print one out and stick it in there, an OEM one (perhaps illuminated as well) would have fit nicely in the space IMO.

The more I look back on images of what the base was advertised to look like the more disappointed I am with the final product. Meh, it's still a sweet base but I guess I just got swept up in the hype. The base was only worth about £20 when you take into account the starter set + 3 other figures in the collector's edition's overall cost, and it looks and feels like a £20 product. So you're definitely getting what you paid for, but it's understandable based off images and things that where said that people are gonna be disappointed in the quality.

I'd still be interested if they did another collectors edition for 3.0, despite the slightly lacking quality. Especially if 3.0 is based on Star Wars as heavily presumed, since I can think of a lot of creative bases they could create for that.

Death Star that opens up with slots for the Original Trilogy Play Set figures... 10/10 would want.

Find it weird now that there's only room for 7 figures on the base when there's 8 for the avengers play set. Thor, iron man, black widow, captain america, hulk, Hawkeye, falcon and hawkeye

I wonder why they didn't leave a spot for falcon. I guess he was added as after thought.
