Will there be more Marvel characters announced for 2.0?

So I started watching the DI Marvel Super Heroes Announce Event on YouTube yesterday, wanting to see if there was any more information I could get from it. I found something interesting in the video.

In it, JV says that they have just shown the first 6 characters in the Marvel Super Heroes collection, and that there are over a dozen more to come. I am taking this to mean that there are over a dozen more Marvel characters to come. Let's review, shall we? After the first 6, we have:

Spider-man, Nick Fury, Nova, Iron Fist, Venom, Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon

By my count, that is only 10 other Marvel themed characters. Based on trailers and screenshots we have seen, I would think it is safe to say that Green Goblin can be added in there, so that makes 11. Will there be more still to come? Or is this it and JV misspoke? I'm hoping for more, naturally. What do you think?

In an upcoming episode of ultimate spider man squirrel girl appears and she has been mentioned in the show multiple time for humor purposes so they could add her into the ultimate spider man playset for people who want a female in that playset. She could also crossover into guardians of the galaxy cause in one comic she defeats thanos

As epic as Squirrel Girl could be, I can pretty much promise you we won't be getting a Squirrel Girl figure.

We're fairly certain there will be a few more, but they will more than likely be Toy Box only figures, so we might get the X-Men, or Fantastic Four, or Deadpool and Coulson, or anyone else who won't get a full Play Set.

@bloxxerman I respectfully disagree marvel/disney has been adding her to a lot of stuff lately and even if she is toy box only i am very confident in her getting a figure

I would love a Squirrel Girl figure. I even voted for her in yesterday's survey. She's one of my all time favourite characters ^^

I agree with Bloxxerman.

I would be VERY surprised if they announce additional characters for playsets that have already been announced. Just look at 1.0. They announced a playset with all the figures at one time and never added more after-the-fact. That's why I don't think Green Goblin or Loki will be playable or they would have been announced with their respective playsets.

After they officially announce GotG this week, I think the remaining Marvel characters will be Toy Box only. And there is a chance they consider Big Hero 6 Marvel, so there's two right there. They only then need to add 1-2 more to fulfill JV's claim of "over a dozen more".
