But do you think the 360 base will work with Xbox One?

Maybe in the US but the majority of UK cross platform releases cost more on ps4 / Xbox One. And they'll need to be a starter pack for people who only have a next gen console?

I agree with Rasgar. I have tested it and the PS3 base fits in the PS4 slots so I assume that it will be able to work. And, even if it does not, it is not a huge deal as long as the old figures will work on it.

I'd be happy with it being multi platform as long as next gen and old gen versions are all equal (except maybe graphics wise) and not like 360 and ps3 and Wii u version being different than Wii version. Don't mind if I needed to buy a new starter pack either but assume we wont

Hmmm... Well, if 2.0 is offered digitally on next gen platforms, then perhaps Disney Interactive will offer the 'Trade-Up Discount' with PS3 and Xbox360 versions. Of course, for this to happen, the bases have to be able to work on both current and next gen consoles.

I would be very down with purchasing a PS3 2.0 Starter, paying an extra $10-$20 on the PSN store and receiving a digital version for PS4 with the capabilities of using all the currently purchased hardware.

For those who are saying 'Trade-Up Discount,' what's that? It's what many companies are already doing with Triple A games. Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts all come with an option to pay an extra $10 (with the purchase of current gen physical copy) to get a digital copy for next gen. There's talk that The Last of Us remastered may do this as well.

^For some reason, I have a hard time believing that they will be going digital with a game like this yet. Maybe down the line but I do not think they will offer a digital version if the game at launch.
