Change to Lone Ranger playset figure?

Just noticed that the Lone Ranger clear playset figure now has two pistols instead of a pistol and tomahawk. Matches the game now but wonder why they changed it?

Do you mean the playset piece? strange , not seen the 2 pistols version. Wonder if they will finally change crystal jack sparrows hat in game to crystal to match his figure and statue?

I have heard of this elsewhere as well. Curious. I can't seem to find anything online to help solve this mystery.

@ durangojim, what store did you find it? Are you in the USA, looking at the picture i would have said it's a prototype, but if it's available in a store bought package then it does seem like a re-design. Did you buy it?

I'm in Michigan in the US. I saw it online first then, most recently saw it at a Best Buy this past Tuesday evening. I didn't buy it because I already have the old one. I have a feeling their changing it to match the store in the Lone Ranger levels which have two guns.

i remember hearing about this. gonna take a while to find the link though, but i could've sworn they changed it to the gun and tomahawk and the two guns one was the older version. i'll try to find the info...

The playset has 2 in game toy stores and has both the versions

^ looks like a variant I'm going to have to track down If anyone has a 2 guns set or can buy one and ship to the uk I would be very grateful
