Disney Infinity Marvel and Star Wars sets in development

What are the chances we will be able to get everything that comes in the new set separately? As some sort of playset? I purchased a starter set and the sidekicks pack a few weeks ago, but I've been waiting to open them until we saw whether or not they'd be introducing new hardware. They've said everything with 2.0 will be backwards compatible - but will they offer the avengers playset without the base? I don't want to open my base set now, just to have to dump 75 bucks into another base set because I can't get the characters and the playset that come in the 2.0 starter kit separately...

id like to see a few x-men in this, at least a pack with Wolverine and Nightcrawler

game still needs Robin Hood though,hopefully disney has a few surprises up their sleeves for E3

I could have sworn they said that the "entire cast" was getting upgraded during the conference - I wonder if that means everyone gets ability trees? If Stitch can crawl around on buildings with Hulk, I wonder if we can have Rapunzel swinging around by her hair with Spider-Man? (like in Marvelfan's avatar)

I'm really interested in the purple and orange power discs, not so much the circle power discs. The Marvel characters who you can't see their human skin such as Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America look a bit too cartoony for me. I definitely won't be buying all of them. I wonder if Captain America's shield will work like Perry's Hat, speaking of Perry I hope Ferb is released. Am most interested though in Merida, Stitch and Maleficent and any other non-Marvel future releases though.

Also I hope the new figures don't have 2.0 written on them.
