Disney Infinity Fans

Yeah the Wii had a longer than expected game cycle in that even after Wii U came out they kept making games for it. But the time is here.

I'm worred DI2 won't look anything like DI1 and if there's anything I don't want it's a totally new version of the game. Hopefully the figures will have the same look as the first.

So to be clear:

1. All of the figures, play set pieces, and power discs that I've collected so far will be backwards compatible w/ DI2 right?

2. I wouldn't be shocked if there is a Rocket Raccoon figure in the DI2 starter kit since this would be coming out after GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY hits theaters.

3. I gotta think that this will be when Muppets, Star Wars, Marvel and (hopefully) some more "classic" Disney characters will be introduced into the world of DI.

4. I wonder what new things they'll put into Toy Box mode.

I wonder how it'll go with the backwards compatibility... I have DI on Xbox 360 but currently I'm leaning more towards buying a PS4 then an Xbox One. Will I be able to transfer the data from my characters to PS4 then? Their level and all that... I'm really curious about this. And I also hope the unlocked Toy Box stuff can somehow transfer over. Would be a pain to unlock all those things again, if they are still available in DI2 that is.

Figure stats will definitely transfer, as they are stored on the figure itself, not the game. As for unlocks, I see no reason why not. You can link your unlocks to the PC or iPad because you log on with a disney ID, so transferring to a different console should be no prob as long as we use the same disney ID,

That's true, I forgot about the Disney ID for a while there. Makes sense!

I guess the biggest question I have right now is DI2 separate and apart from Star Wars or Marvel's version of Infinity. Part of me is leaning toward the answer being yes. There are just too many characters for them not to have their own version. Trust me. I think it would be great if they were all part of the same toy box, but Star Wars alone could have Endor, Hoth and Tatooine.

I just hope they keep a Wiiu version, with the way its being shunned by developers currently. I don't want to have to buy it for Ps3. Offscreen play for the win!
