Figures First and Playsets later

So does anyone else think that we will get random characters/figures from different movies for the toybox to test the waters if the characters are popular enough to make into playsets?

Aka a character say like Jack from the Nightmare Before Christmas is released for the toybox (I know he’s coming out in the fall one way or another) and he sell out which will let the developers know that they should start working on a playset and more characters/figures to go with it.

I think this would be a good way to get more playsets that they fans would want to buy.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this, or if they have heard if this is how they might come up with new playsets?

Yeah I suppose they could do it that way. But would they be able to keep making playsets that are not on the disk?

There's always Disney Infinity 2.

I agree with Pizza Planet.

If a figure or two from a franchise without a Playset sold very well and demand was high, then I wouldn't rule it out for Infinity 2.
