PS3 Patch 1.03 didn't solve anithing

Doesn't work for me either.

I've just received the game today, so never went anywhere near patches 1.01 or 1.02.
Installed patch 1.03 & upon loading it stops at the IN logo up & just sits there doing nothing. I uninstalled patch 1.03 & started from scratch- same deal. Uninstalled again & this time removed the network cable ( so remained offline) when I loaded it & it started fine. Then even tried the ridiculous theory on the Disney Facebook page of downloading the patch wirelessly, which obviously made no change, it hung again at the same spot.
For what its worth, I am in England, using a fat 40gb PS3....

^ Download over Wifi? As opposed to what? An Ethernet connection? What a load of rubbish.

If you've played your save at all offline without the 1.03 patch, then you'll probably need to delete your data and save game and start a fresh, you could backup your data to a USB stick/another profile or cloud.

Or create a temporary profile and start a new game and see if it works better, if so, then you know that's what you need to do on your main profile.

Mine's the PS3 Slim (not the new budget Super Slim).

I know!!! What difference is downloading it via wifi gonna make (except take twice as long!)?

Thanks for the tip though Ace re backups. My kids are surging through the offline levels, I want to make sure they are saved!

No response from my email to Disney Infinity as yet btw....

Quick update....Disney Infinity have now replied & said they are "working on a patch to fix all these issues". Also they say the corrupt data issue should already be fixed, so saves should work when it eventually does get sorted.

^ Caveat to that I fear is that your data must have been created AFTER the last patch was installed.

FWIW I had issues before 1.03, played offline for a few days, saved my game to an sd card, applied the patch and haven't had a problem since.

I created my data after the patch. Guess that means my profile won't get corrupted. Eitherway, my game froze one time when trying to save on MU. I kept my progress though and am currently fine. Defintley awaiting the update and hope that all these evil bugs that run around our beautiful golden apple known as "Disney Infinity" all get exterminated.

Can anyone play online with a friend when you invite them at the moment? All I'm getting is "Failed to join game" errors.

From past experience that likely means they've not yet updated their back end servers yet for 1.03, likely a version mismatch.

Unless its not working on any format yet?
