there will be no Phineas and Ferb Play set

Thing is, Disney's already come right out and said they plan to release a new Disney Infinity game once a year, that will be forwards and backwards compatible. Players not wishing to buy the new game disc will be able to download a patch to make new characters work in Infinity 1's Toybox. Will that mean new statues in Hall of Heroes? I doubt it. I think there will always be some borders between the annual editions, but that all characters will always work in Toybox mode. Disney has made no mention of downloadable playsets, and--considering that a HUGE part of their customer base still has no idea what downloadable content is, I really think they're going to put all their effort into making Infinity 2 a must-have purchase 10 months from now. Any playsets they would release before that would rob content from the sequel, and they want that sequel done on time.

Let's see how this will all play out in the future.

I found a Ferb for pre-order on the internet. It says it will be released 12/31/13 and it is $12.99.

Do a search on Goog for Disney infinity ferb figure and you will see it for sale at a pretty popular site.

It's not legit. Disney hasn't said anything about Ferb yet. Hopefully soon but not at this time.
