Lenticular goodness

Just picked up the full set of 10 lenticular variants from EB Games. The guys at my local store rock! Each packet clearly indicated which of the lenticular variants was in it, just like the Toys R Us Mike's Car.



I also grabbed an unopened box of standard disks and got:

No Finding Nemo (Texture Set), but this is consistent with other posts saying you get one of each rare disc per box.

EDIT: I was just unpacking the game, pulled out the Infinity reader and found... The Finding Nemo (Texture Set) disc! WHAT ARE THE ODDS??? 1 in 20, I guess. I'll interpret this as a very positive sign of great gaming times to come, all 30 discs in hand.

Didn't realize they're out now, can you post a pic of the variants?

Are you in the US? I just got 3 Dumbo's, 2 ABU's elephants.

How did you get all of those rare discs? Were they completely at random?

I've added a picture to my original post. The circular discs are made of clear red plastic, the texture/skydome ones (both Tron) are clear purple plastic, and as most people have already seen, the Mike's Car is clear orange just like Dumbo, Abu and the Space ranger Spin Mount. I'm glad they look like rare variants; I still want to get the plain ones when they come out eventually.

He's in Australia. He said in his initial post that each pack had a way to know which rare disc was inside.

TiInfinity, I'm in Australia and got them through EB Games. Just like Toys R Us they advertised these as exclusives; unlike Toys R Us they actually had the ten they promised. Each exclusive pack was clearly marked with which exclusive disc was inside.

The three rare discs (Abu, Dumbo and Spin Mount) were present in regular packs in an unopened box. So I've bought 34 packs (24 regular, 10 EB Games exclusives), and (when including the one in my PS3 starter pack), have all 30 currently available discs. I'm pretty happy with that.
