Disney Infinity Fans

Saw Ant-Man this weekend. Nothing like a great movie to get you in the mood to play the character in 3.0. I was thinking how awesome it would be if they made his figure small. Hulk, Venom and Hulkbuster are large strong figures. I would love to see Any-Man's figure be him miniturized as a nice contrast.

^ I agree. Maybe with Anthony beside him. Imagine if he could summon anthony and fly in-game!

A few things
1. Ant Man is probably going to be announced on the 5th and if we're lucky, the rest of the Marvel Playset.
2. Seeing how Aurora wasn't on the poll, and she's popular, I think Aurora is going to be in 3.0
3. No Kristoff was surprising, but I don't really know how popular he is so it might not be included.
4. Sora looks really popular on FB and Twitter, it'd be great if he got in!
5. After seeing Ant-Man, I really want Yellow-Jacket playable, and Anthony would be a great mount!

I certainly wouldn't mind having Kristoff and/or Hans figures added, but I also wouldn't mind if those slots were given to other characters like Flynn Rider, Jafar, Mushu, Fix-It Felix, etc.

Do we know for sure that there is only 1 Marvel play set, or is it possible there could be 2 (or more)?

If the amount of unannounced characters JV keeps teasing is true (16 Disney, 9 Star Wars and 4 Marvel) then this is what I see happening:

Gamescom announcements:

Marvel playset details
Ant Man, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision announced

D23 announcements:

Force Awakens playset details
Finn, Poe, Rey and Kylo Ren announced for the Force Awakens playset
General Grievous and Padme announced for Twilight playset
Hera and The Inquisitor announced to finish off Rebels characters
Lando announced for Rise playset

Disney Originals Wave 2 announced as all Toy Box only characters
Dipper, Mabel, Hercules, Baloo, Belle, Beast, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wall-E, EVE, Cinderella, Cruella De Vil, Alice (Live Action or Classic), Mad Hatter (Live Action or Classic) and Pocahontas announced

That would be the best day ever if all that happened at D23!!! I bet at least some of those will be Wave 2 especially if there's 16 Disney Originals left!

^ I would absolutely love it if that were the Originals Wave 2 lineup. Getting half of my remaining Top Ten wishes in one fell swoop, plus the majority of my remaining Marvel wishes, plus Lando? That'd be amazing.

After Hercules, Baloo, Beast, Peter Pan, and Alice, all I'd have to wish for would be Quasimodo (sadly seeming more and more like a pipe dream each day), Goofy (a shoo in for 4.0 at the latest), Pooh (I figure they'll add him soonish), Pinocchio (I think we'll get him eventually), and Kermit (honestly I wouldn't be surprised if a Muppets playset was in 3.0 or 4.0), with Mr. Toad as the honorable mention pipe dream.

Star Wars added everyone I'd want already, barring promoting R2D2 and Lando to playable status.

With Marvel, Ant-Man's basically confirmed, so my wishes for that basically include:

- Scarlet Witch
- Quicksilver
- Vision
- War Machine
- Wasp
- Phil Coulson
- Doctor Strange
- Ghost Rider

The first three stand a great shot for this go-around, though



Doctor Strange seems like a lock for 4.0 if Ant-Man's any indication, plus he's ripe with potential powers.

Ghost Rider will likely never happen unless the MCU introduces him which...doesn't seem likely until after the Infinity Wars in...2018. Pipe dreeeeeeeeam.

And Coulson would just be awesome. An Agents of Shield playset would be marvelous, pardon the pun. Maybe Agent Coulson, Agent May, and Skye at least?


So yeah, I elaborated a bit, haha.

^^ I think Agents of Shield would be great. Could on would be really cool have interact with the Avengers. I'd love a May figure. They could even do a Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird figure for that play set that would be pretty awesome.

@Opposum, I can definitely see Goofy and Winnie the Pooh along with Tigger all coming in 4.0! Winnie and Tigger seem to be really popular on the #OurDisneyInfinity poll right now and Goofy has to come to go with Mickey, Minnie and Donald! Kermit I could see as either 3.0, 4.0 or 5.0, depends on the poll really. And Pinocchio, maybe 4.0 but I think by 5.0 he'll be in. Quasimodo maybe he'll appear in the future but I don't know... And I'm sorry to say but I can't see Mr Toad figure coming anytime soon.

So most people assume another Disney play set for 3.0 right? I think my money is on a Zootopia set early next year that comes with Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps. And have we had any confirmation with Black Suit Spider-Man takes up one of those 4 spots in the display? I remember something about him being "missing" but that the crystals for sure didn't count towards the empty 16 Disney. Hoping they figured out quad characters for 3.0, could see figures for Arlo (rideable like Baymax/Groot), Bolt, Simba, Scar, Pumbaa, Pluto, etc... in 3.0. Also Rex from Toy Story
