Disney Infinity Fans

It's the same with Peter Pan, but everyone seems to find ways around Peter Pan copyright issues.

I'm pretty sure Peter Pan has entered the public domain by now.

Peter Pan is a bit weird. It's public domain in MOST senses. Generally it's fair game for Disney as long as it doesn't reference things that happened in the original story or play, but not the Disney movie. Or something like that. It's confusing, but in general, Disney can use Peter Pan, as noted in his appearances in various media, such as Kingdom Hearts and The House of Mouse, as well as in Infinity through Power Discs.

Well if they can't reference the original story that would explain whatever the heck was going on in Once Upon a Time.

At least, I THINK that's how it goes. I tried looking it up once for Infinity actually, since it was before Peter appeared on a Power Disc. IIRC, Peter Pan is public domain (how else would the Peanut Butter thing work? ), but the play and original story itself is perpetually copyrighted to the Greater Ormond Street Hospital, so they get the play royalties.

Disney's Peter Pan is fine for Infinity though, haha.


EDIT: Anyway, I just thought of how awesome José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles would be in Infinity...oh, if only. They're high on my list of "quite obscure characters" I'd like to see down the line. A black-magic Portuguese parrot who fights with an umbrella, and a dual-pistol wielding Mexican chicken who could use that magical flying serape kinda like Mario's Cape in Smash Bros.? Yes please.
