The Characters In Disney Infinity

Yes I am sure there will be more to come - they cannot announce everything at once !!!

I think two waves is just not enough. Hoping for a third wave, then I'd be content.

After that, its waiting till the second game while everyone has fun in the toybox and sharing their creations

Also remember that there are 3 CONFIRMED waves of powerdiscs so its very likely that there will be AT LEAST 3 waves of characters if not MORE!!!

What you see in the HoH is just what's on the disc. For better or worse, all the figures and playsets we're buying are already on the disc and we're just unlocking them by paying extra. In an interview around E3 (wish i could find the link) they confirmed all the content was on the disc because they wanted to avoid the need for the console to be hooked up to the internet.

Consider this as Disney Infinity Vol1. If we're not drooling at E3 2014 over Disney Infinity Vol 2's roster in time for a Xmas 2014 launch, I'll be shocked. Its possible they're targeting 2015, but 24 months is a long time between major releases for this time of game. Being that its so closely tied to toy sales, a holiday refresh is almost guaranteed.

But they have confirmed that Infinity 1 is forward compatible. So whatever we're drooling over in 2 will be compatible with 1's Toy Box Mode.

I have no doubt that 2 will come out next year just like the Skylanders releases are annual too. 2 will probably feature more princesses as the live action Cinderella and Maleficent will be hitting the big screen. More than likely a Muppets pack too for Most Wanted. Then when 3 hits in 2015, it will be the prime time to bring in Marvel and Star Wars with Episode VII and Avengers 2.
