Took advantage of this loophole in the UK. After noticing it on their website:

CEX are selling the Spiderman play-set for £12. But I bought the Xbox one base, 2.0 software, Spidey, Nova and playset piece as a bundle for £12. The trick here ( or error on their part is that YOU CAN TRADE SPIDEY IN FOR £10 ( or £7 cash ). )

I had Spidey already - So I bought the playset bundle for £12, then traded Spidey back infor £10 credit. So I only actually spent 2 quid on the portal-base, 2.0 game, Nova and playset piece. Even the shop assistant laughed when he processed it. ( I needed the Xbox One version because i'm gradually up-grading from 360 ).

Given that Spidey sells for £10-£15 alone, this is a neat trick...

I sold my Spidey figure for £29.99+P&P. Then purchased the playset bundle for a lot less.

Exactly... The second hand loose Spidey price is silly. CEX sell him alone for £15, or the playset which includes him for £12. They will notice this soon i'm sure and correct it. The people who are paying 15 quid plus for him obviously just aren't shopping around, and are accepting the inflated price. Oddly the ( rare just months back ) black Spiderman is now half the price of the red one. Go figure.

( Sainsburys supermarket £7.99 each, or buy 2 get 1 free ). So get 3 black Spidermen ( ? ) for £16!

^ the vita starter pack is less than £5 at smyths so could get 3 Spider-Man for 15

I'm imagining lots of custom figure mod opportunities...
