I just cannot believe that Disney made an article BRAGGING about how Disney Infinity had grossed over a billion dollars, mere months before they decided to discontinue it. Disney, what are you thinking?

I am genuinely mad.

This one really hurts.

Like the chap on the previous page mentioned, if they wanted to discontinue it, they should have made a formal announcement that Disney Infinity would end after 3.0 wrapped up. Would have been a far better deal for fans who followed the game for nearly 4 years, and they wouldn't have just written off nearly $150m in finances.

Now that this dream is dead, why not send off the prototypes to fans of the game? Come on Disney, you can see who your fans are on here by their collections and work, let's get some of these prototypes into our hands. Hey, I can wish people, haha!

The more leaks that come out, showing how far along most of these products were, the more it seems it was a horrible knee-jerk reaction to pull the plug. I don't know why they wouldn't reduce the number of employees to just "enough" to see 3.0 through to "completion" before closing it down, making back some of the money already invested in all these future products, but what do I know about the world of high finance? Maybe a $1.74mil loss is nothing compared to the production costs combined with the future sales projection.
