Captain America figure with no shield?

Postby Jimnoble » Sun Feb 21, 2016 6:59 pm

Hi

I hope this is the right place to post this, I'm new here! I've found a Captain America figure still new and sealed in his box but with no shield at all. It's not loose in the box it's just completely missing? :? I was hoping to share a picture of it, but I can't figure out how to post one

Is this a common defect, I've not seen one like it before?

Someone early on when 1.0 was released found a Mater that didn't have the eyes 'painted' on the windshield. These errors and poor quality control happen I guess, but to answer your question, Cap should have his shield. He was not released afaik in a variant with no shield. Just shake it and verify it didn't fall off. I know you said you looked but I'd just double check to make certain IF you planned on buying it, if you didn't already.

That's very strange indeed. Could be worth something (seen amiibos missing parts go for hundreds on eBay)

Oh wow, that's a really interesting defect. I'd honestly just keep it in the box on display and keep it as a sort of talking piece, haha. Makes for an interesting bad QA story. :P

getting a real sense of deja vu with this post. Think someone found a Captain America like this before and posted about it.

EDIT:
looking back at my old posts I found it
