Infinity 1.0/2.0 Characters and Skill Trees in 3.0

I'm looking for some detailed reviews and insights on how our Disney Infinity 1.0/2.0 characters port into 3.0. Personally, I wasn't completely thrilled with the skillsets and combat for 1.0 characters in 2.0 ---- and I'm praying that 3.0 does a better job of making those characters relevant in the new version. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but I'm a little hesitant to make the upgrade until I know my existing collection will port well -

Thanks in advance --- - S

Pretty much exactly the same as they were before just spread out.

Though they DID update all of the melee weapons it seems. They can now all do uppercuts that knock enemies into the air and you can now air juggle. Minnie air juggling with a Lightsaber is incredibly amusing

Air juggles are amazing in the game!

I don't have access to my 1.0/2.0 characters atm, are only the tools/packs updated or for instance do the pirates have updated melee moves with their standard swords?

Basically the same for 1.0 characters. Ok.

What about Iron Man, Spidey, and 2.0 characters special moves? Did their special get nerfed or port over?

From what I've tested nothing has changed for legacy characters (1.0 & 2.0) from the last game. Didn't even have to set my skill trees again, they stayed the way I set them. The only change you get for older characters is if you equip them with a pack weapon. And while I adore everything else about 3.0 I was hoping for some work to be done on skill trees.
