Wow, you guys aren't lucky. It might be a first here in Canada but everything went super smooth. Got everything I preordered at GameStop (ebgames), and then went to get Kanaan at Walmart. Will go to TRU and BB later to grab Mulan and Ezra. Target doesn't exist here anymore so I'll have to wait for Sabine.

So I go to Target (Wanted to take part in some of that 2 figures for $20 action), go to the Disney Infinity aisle, and the only 3.0 items I saw were Yoda, Obi-Wan, Sadness, and a standard starter set for 3.0.
I already ordered the Saga bundle online, so I just got Yoda and Sadness and sadly had to go to Gamestop as a last resort (I was worried Wal-Mart and TRU might also be underprepared and figured Gamestop would have a wider selection).
They had everything I wanted, but of course for that stupid extra dollar they charge for everything. Not too big of a problem, just annoyed I couldn't take part in such an awesome deal at Target. Seriously, this is launch day, they need to be more prepared.

I went to Best Buy today and had no problems. I got there about 15 minutes after they opened. They had everything out so I got Inside Out, Sam Flynn, Quorra, and Disgust. Then I went to the front and picked up my Saga Bundle and Takeover. I was out of there in like 2 minutes and I saved about $50.

My Toys R Us was great, they had a lot of every non exclusive character and plenty of power discs, Inside Out play sets, and expansion packs. They even had a ton of Ezra figures, like at least twenty of them! The only problem was that the cashier was unaware of the promotion for the free expansion pack with your pre order, so he had to go ask the manager, but everything was fine after that. There I got the starter pack, expansion pack, the Inside Out play set, Sadness, Disgust, and Ezra.

Next I went to Best Buy. Me and my friend got there a few minutes before it opened, so we had to wait outside for a few minutes. The guy told us the Infinity figures would be in the aisle. When we finally got in, they were still setting up all the figures. They had only five Mulan figures...FIVE. Me and me friend both got one right away so then they had three of them...I assume they're all gone by now.

I had to go to two different Gamestops to get my hands on Zeb. The first one I went to had all of their Infinity stuff behind the counter, with most of it in a box on the floor. I asked the lady if they had Zeb, and she said "the exclusive was only for people who pre ordered" and then told me that there weren't any extras. Personally, I think she just didn't want to dig through the big box, haha. I went to a Gamestop in my mall and was able to get Zeb there thankfully, they had three of him out.

Lastly, I went to Target in hopes of finding Sabine and taking advantage of their two for twenty dollars deal. I went there and they basically had nothing. No Sabines at all, two of each of Mickey and Minnie, ONE Olaf, two Obi Wans, two Disgust, two Sam Flynns, ONE Sadness, a few power disc packs, and that's it. Nothing else. I was so disappointed, not only about Sabine but because I wanted to use the sale to get Mickey/Minnie and Obi Wan/Yoda. I still got Mickey and Minnie, and although I COULD have gotten like, Olaf with Obi Wan...I would have really just been buying him for no reason. Olaf isn't very high on my list at all. So I also got the Star Wars power disc pack so I wouldn't feel like I wasted my time. When I got to the cashier, he rang both figures up and didn't change them to ten dollars each. I told him about the sale, and he changed the price with no questions asked...which was kind of odd.

I didn't even bother trying Walmart, I can wait for Kanan.

So all in all, it was a pretty good launch day for me! Besides Sabine, I did end up getting everything that I wanted :)

I went to my Best Buy today, ready to buy 4 figures. But there were only a couple of Obi-Wans, a sam, and a quorra. :/
So that sucked. I left empty handed. Then I went to Target and got Mickey and Sam Flynn, 2 for 20.

Well first off for me, the local Gamestops computer was down due to a thunderstorm that morning. No big deal, I just came back a half hour later and picked up my stuff. Turns out I was incredibly lucky because apparently only two Saga bundles came in when there were three ordered (I have friends who work there and filled me in) so I was getting one of the only two, meaning someone was going to be walking away unhappy.

Walmart was pretty decent, I was able to get Kenan there.

Target was....nonexistant. They had absolutely NOTHING up for Infinty 3.0, the shelves were still lined with 2.0 stuff with no sign of 3.0 anywhere. No signs advertising it or anything, like...it's like they completely forgot entirely. My Target has always been bad with stock though..

I pre-ordered the game at GameStop but my store didn't open until 11. I picked up the game and went next door to Target to get 3 figures since I had a gift card from the Madden/Doritos promotion. I was disappointed at what they had in stock. They had one Obi Wan left, a handful of Mickey, Minnie and Olaf and some Inside Out playsets. I picked up Mickey with the gift card but went to Walmart since I wanted Yoda and he was out of stock at Target. Ended up picking up Olaf too. I got there at noon and they were just then unboxing and putting merchandise out, it was kind of sad. I unfortunately haven't been paying attention to news like last year and was disappointed that a few figures I wanted are later wave releases (Vader, Maul, Chewy, Han, etc.)

I'm excited for the Marvel playset and the Ultron figure. I really hope there are more Marvel figures coming to 3.0 than just those two. One of them isn't even a new character just a bigger version of Iron Man. I really hope there are more figures coming than the ones announced to this point, but I honestly doubt it. I don't even expect Peter Pan to come until 4.0.

I tried to order a bunch of figures from Target.com earlier. I noticed that Sadness and Disgust art not covered by the 2 for $20 offer, but I added them anyway and contacted a customer service rep.
He was happy to sort it out and said they must have been overlooked when the promotion was applied. For various reasons I had to delay my purchase, but he said he'd flag my order so the next help agent would apply the discount directly it to my order later.

I tried to order later and contacted Help again to get them to apply the discount. The agent told me he'd apply the offer "because I had been promised it earlier", but the tone was clear that I should not be getting the discount.

Then my order was auto cancelled at the last second for unknown reasons.

I try to place another order a few hours later and again there's no promotion so I contact Help yet again. After an extensive On Hold, this agent tells me flat out that only some figures get the discount so Sadness and Disgust are full price. I tell him they're all valid in store and show him the advert that says "All 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 figures." He goes off to check all this and comes back saying that those two don't count towards the offer because they're Disney*Pixar, which aren't on the offer.
I'm kinda tired by this point so I just say I'm going to cancel the entire order of 8 figures and not bother with all this hassle. He puts me on hold again, then comes back and says they'll apply the discount just because this whole process has gone on so long.

I place my order... and it gets auto cancelled again. No one knows why. I need to call their specialist tomorrow during office hours. I will do that and find out what went wrong, but I think I'm just going to skip ordering these and wait for an Amazon sale or something.

So in conclusion, the Target.com offer is weird. Their customer service staff are great, but they're shackled by the system that is saying the offer is not valid. The auto cancelling orders thing is probably a completely unrelated issue, but it's pretty gosh darn annoying all the same!

I couldn't help but laugh when I read "Disney Pixar." In the Target ad they actually show Sadness. How can they show a picture of a specific character you wanted to purchase but say that character is not part of the promotion?
