Since this will have 4 player co-op, an Ultimate Alliance type game is what i think the playset will be. Set in Battleworld i hope

I would really like it to be mission based like you have a base you upgrade with money and recruit side kicks to go on missions with you and then one of the last missions is to defend your upgraded base

Since it's called Marvel Battlegrounds, maybe it'll be some kind of fighting game (à la Smash?) or just an arena to fight. The second option would really suck, I hope it's a story of some kind again.

To me, the term battleground makes me think of a war zone, could easily incorporate Age of Ultron, but they gave it a spring release date, isnt that roughly when Civil War comes out? Im predicting it to be more based on that, heroes and villains fighting and teaming up, but hopefully more to it than just fighting.

I would love a Ultimate Alliance style game, and the 4-player co-op announced for Battlegrounds is a good sign that this could be the case.

On that note; how do you think they'll do 4-players? Will you need 2 bases?

If they required you to keep your figure on the base in the PSP version of the game I would see it as VERY unlikely they'll ever allow the home versions to play without figures in any form.
