Some VERY AWESOME new Creativi-Toys coming to 3.0

Just thought I'd share some of the new toys that are going to be in 3.0's Toy Box to get you all pumped.

One of the new features that we are the most excited about is a Creativity-Toy called the Radar Marker. You can connect it to a townsperson, making a "!" or a "?" (among other options) appear above them (just like in the Play Sets), and can choose to have the townsperson show up as a blip on your radar. You can choose if the connected actor (or Locator) is visible only on your radar, or only has the beacon floating above the actor, or both. It's AWESOME!!

There's another new 3.0 Creativi-Toy as well, called the Distance Checker. You basically attach it to two different things, like your current location and a townsperson you want to act as a mission giver, and can set it so a number appears at the top of your screen, counting down or up depending on how close those two things get to each other. So it basically acts like the Play Sets where you are told how close you are to your next objective.

There have also been a RIDICULOUSLY HUGE number of new sound effects added for the Sound Effect toy, new actions in the Action Enforcer toy, and effects in the Effect Generator toy. And there have been a HUGE number of awesome collectibles added to use throughout your levels! It truly is a glorious time for Toy Box builders.

Question: is the music creator tool going to be able to recreate sounds of real instruments, or is it more like bit music?

@fdanielix, first of all, congrats on your recent win!!!

To answer your question about the music creator toy, there are a few different instruments whose notes it can play, including piano and bassoon (I believe). You can adjust pitch and hit every note in a musical scale as well! In addition, there's another new toy called the Metronome, to help logic fire off at the cadence you desire. Basically, it's more friendly than the Repeater for playing music. And you can sync it up to shoot off logic in time with music you compose, or even the background music in your Skydome!

Yes! So pumped now! It sounds like we'll practically be able to make Playsets in the toy box now, and that is awesome news for the Disney Original toy box only figures. I really love the radar marker tool, since sometimes I feel like guiding the player can be difficult in the toy box unless you have huge flashy arrows. I can't wait to check these out and see them in action. It all sounds so great. Thanks for sharing Quinn!
