I doubt EO will be in 3.0, but maybe a future release. JV seemed confident he could pull it off. There's a lot of hurdles, but not insurmountable ones.

Personally, I don't see how this is a must have in Infinity. I had never heard of him before this whole debacle started and I'm a Disney fan and I like Michael Jackson. If this character makes it in before tons of very important Disney characters, I will scratch my head... a lot!

Other characters like: Goofy, Belle, Beast, Snow White, the dwarves, other Big Hero 6 characters... There's still so much they could do, why bring back a very obscure character that a lot of people never heard about, especially the kids!?

I would be fine with references in the game. Captain Eo is a big part of Disneyland history.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that Corpola directed the film while Lucas and Spielburg provided input.

I would say Lucas provided a little more than input, as he was the executive producer.

Spielberg was originally going to direct, but had to back out, so he had nothing to do with the film.

Haven't even seen this so for me either way would be fine

One question comes in my mind if they do make a Captain EO figure, since the King of Pop passed away 6 years ago, who's gonna to voice him in the game?

Just watched Captain EO on Youtube. I gotta say that I kinda want him in the game too now.
I could already see his special move before me, performing a small part of his song and the enemies dancing along.
