There are already themed enemies. You can add them with the enemy wave generator. Each franchise has a selection of enemies to choose from.

Crazed Java and WheresTron already touched on this one...

I put together some block art Thursday only to realize it was too close to the rest of the level and I couldn't get the camera angle right. So, I think an area selection tool would be very useful. I had to delete the entire area last night and rebuild in a new location.

This selection tool would allow me to highlight an entire section of the box and either move, delete or rotate.

@pjhaan That is exactly the type of scenario I think needs addressing. Fingers crossed they have SOMETHING in 3.0 to help.

@wherestron

If you re read my post I would like MORE of these themed enemies. Frost giants aren't very good for Avengers toy boxes unless you want to make it the same as the play set. You could do much more with Hydra & AIM. Robin Hood archers could be paired with the Rhinos to give a Robin Hood toy box more variety.

Yeah the playset figures are well supported but the origionals either have 0, 1, or a few weak enemies, I think many great themed toy boxes are let down by only having 1 enemy to fight against

Having generic enemies that can change skins to themes, both from other origionals figures and from disney franchises that have no figures like Peter Pan and Robin Hood could make great toy boxes

Something I was thinking about that would totally rule. Imagine if you will a "boss fight" template.

example:

You place down an Ursula Boss template. It includes a large model of the villain from The Little Mermaid and all the logic toys connected. She would of course be much larger (think battle like the ice monster in Avengers Playset) then figures. And if they could build in some cool mechanics for the fight and maybe have it spawn some minions and so on. You could drop this boss fight into your level (granted it would probably take allot of memory) and it could be the conclusion to a level or dungeon crawl or something.

I would also like to see in the properties the ability to adjust difficulty as well.

Some bosses could include:

Ursula (The Little Mermaid)
Jaffar (Aladdin)
Chernabog (Fantasia)
Dragon Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
Giant from Mickey in the Beanstalk.

I am sure people could think of more. But just one of these could be super fun in the toybox.

I like the idea of boss enemies, especially if they are larger than regular enemies. Having the Enemy Generator upgraded for this would be great.

Rather the have specific templates built in to DI, I'm hoping we will get the ability to create and share our own in 3.0. This would open up an enormous amount of potential for everyone, as having just the pre-built templates could get very boring quickly.

I'd also like to see toy box terain (trees, sculptures, lamp posts etc) that can be covered in toilet rolls (and cleaned) possibly with logic for leaderboards and stuff. If so enemies with toilet paper guns and clean up abilities (or a towns person clean up crew)

Was great in the monsters university playset but toilet paper gun is underused in the toy box by not having any targets

Also could be used to wrap up players/enemies like Spider-mans webs

I'd like an easier way to place a bunch of trees of the same theme in one area.
