Great ideas @goofyspaceranger! I'd love those things. The OTHER toys to life game has the mechanic of requiring specific characters for unlocking challenges like that. I like it.

On the matter of features to be in 3.0 vs 4.0, you could be right - or partially right, at least. Features can be added late in the dev cycle sometimes.

Only a week to go until we see some major announcements!

@wherestron, how do you know only a week to go till there's some major announcements? E3 is more than a week away.

How about a special hidden unlock when you place a certain combination of figures/discs on the base in a predetermined order.

For example using the following figures sequentially:

Image leads to Image leads to Image leads to Image

could unlock some sort of Yoda/Jedi council item!

Speaking of the above quote: imagine Yoda and Fear conversing in toybox, "I sense much fear in you" etc :D

@braiko Oh my god that last line made me die! LOL.

And its kind of disappointing the cool gravity thing wont be in the toy box from the Inside Out play set. JV said the reasoning was bc it didnt work in 3D, only in 2D. They could have somehow restricted it to only function when a 2D camera is active... but whatever. He also said plenty of other features are unlocked via the Inside Out play set.

@braiko - that idea about characters in a certain sequence is cool. It's the kind of thing that would make for great "Easter Eggs" for people to find, and would really drive figure sales. Have you tweeted JV about that?

I would like to see "end of level boss" type baddies. Not the playable baddies but other major villains ie Captain Hook, jafar, hedes etc (and marvel - doc oc, dr doom, lizard, scorpion, sandman, magnito, kingpin), possibly with a visable health bar and player like abilities. I'd also like generic baddies that u can change the "skin" of, possibly unlocked by figures, so say you start with Aladdin baddies, these can then be changed to others when associated figure is added, or link to texture hex discs (tho unlocking things by non-play set figures would be cool, lots of people collected every figure to unlock 1 lightsaber and 1 speeder, imagine if all originals unlocked things) so u could have

Small Aladdin guard, med shooting guard, med combat guard, large guard (shooting and combat)
Then put a figure on, say Peter Pan (too late an idea for 3.0 figures) and you get
Small pirate, med shooting pirate, med combat pirate and large pirate (or hook)
Add Robin Hood and u get
Vulcher guard, hound/wolf archer (can't remember the exact animal) crocodile and rhino (or sheriff of Nottingham)
You get the idea,

I find that lack of themed baddies is the only thing stopping players from creating there own themed playsets

I would love more themed bad guys. Hydra, AIM, full sized Beagle Boys, archers from Robin Hood. Also let the cast member allies in toy box be used as allies in battle.
