Disney Infinity 3.0: Rumors & Speculation

Not yet, but isn't time they give us a kind of trailer that they did before they announce DI 2.0

I read somewhere that they have been contracted after the success of 1.0 to do the next two games. Let me see if i can find the reference. Been a while.

3.0 is coming.
There have been references by the entire team and it is a no brainer...
The game just continues to make more and more money and a larger fanbase.

We know it's coming, that's obvious, same as we know there will be another Call of Duty later in the year. Official confirmation and announcements will probably come late April to early May, likely close to Star Wars celebration. I doubt that Disney will be happy about the Mulan info getting out this early but it seems the leaked info pattern of 2.0 will continue into the next game.

May 4th I'm sure will be the announcement

Best news I've heard! I know my girlfriend will be happy.

I'm hoping an official announcement will come soon. I just hope they give us like 60% Disney original characters and some classic ones at that.

Extremely excited for Mulan. I hope Mushu is also in the works. I know a few have mentioned his size as a problem, but size is relative in DI anyway - have you seen Wreck-It Ralph's hands? They're large in the movie, enormous in DI.


OT: Ariel and Ursula would also be a hoot in DI. "Finding Dory" is coming out in a couple years. If they attempt a water engine, that would be a reasonable time to do it. Nemo, Dory, and especially Bruce could be fun to play with. In the Toybox, instead of swimming they can float/hover. The theory of DI is toys to life. Well, many children have toy sharks, and guess what? They play with them out of water. I'd have no problem with floating/hovering Nemo and Little Mermaid characters in the Toy Box.

Great to here! It is only a matter of time now before the big reveal of Disney Infinity 3.0!! They have done quite a nice job of keeping everything locked up and secret for the game, as this is the only real leak we have had so far. After to listening to her full interview on your podcast (which was great , by the way!), my guess is that she asked about whether or not she could say this and because it was an event and interview where no Disney Infinity advisers were probably present, nobody told her not to say anything about the Mulan character in 3.0, so she went ahead and said it. Not much you can do on this one if you are Disney or Wen, but great for us fans!
