I have had problems downloading very old delisted content from xbox live in the past, I don't trust that everything digital wont eventually be removed from servers at some point making it impossible to re-download. I know you can store some psone and psp purchases on the ps3/ps4 but it's a pain to keep transferring and re-downloading. There is really no excuse for a 64gb card to be £60 in 2015, it's a pure cash grab and one that I feel is stopping more people picking up a Vita system. Which is a shame as it's a great handheld with same truly fun underrated games, and the 1000 versions oled screen is crystal clear, I use mine daily.

Agree 100%, I feel the cards were a huge barrier to entry....its a mistake sony repeatedly makes and I just don't get it.

And yes, the screen on the 1000 is a beauty....looks better than my current projector which is tough to swallow.

I don't see it posted here, the Vita version is a GameStop exclusive. That's why no preorder at Amazon or another retailers.

Haha really? I still get surprised with the exclusives.

On a off topic note do the vita not have adapters like the psp memory card had where you just put in a micro SD card?

@Elmo you can only use the official Sony card for the vita unfortunately. The vita version is only available at gamestop in the USA, I'm not sure about the rest of Europe but it's still available at several different retailers in the UK, unfortunately Amazon have put the price up to £49.99 now :(

American Preorder Link

Thank you Mozenrath1 :D

We are one step closer to seeing how it will be released in Canada. I truly hope it will be the same way and the preorder goes up soon.

My guess is that in the US, Gamestop was the only one interested in ordering. With it being so late compared to the rest of the versions, other retailers probably just passed and it became GS exclusive by default rather than by design.
