I currently don't own a PS Vita, but was considering getting one. I'm the type of person that doesn't like buying used products unless its going to save a lot of money. Is the Vita worth getting new for $200, or is it safe to purchase a used version and save a few bucks?

I bought mine used for $120 and it came with one game. My biggest concern was no scratches on the screen....easy check. Other than that, you just have to remember where most people use their portable devices (hint:bathrooms).

I would say Pirate's amazon deal is best choice but honestly, I've had no issues. The thing is, it depends if you want the slim or not. Pros and con's to each but I'd assume if you want the PS vita 1000 you'd have to go used.

I got a PS Vita over the weekend as well :-) got a few "disney games" included... messing about with infinity remote play last night and feels good for playing toy boxes, but building is slightly tricky with the under buttons

I love the vita but the real problem is the cost of the memory cards, I have two 16GB one 8GB and 1 4GB that are all full. I need to upgrade to a 64GB card but they are about £60 (around $80), ridiculous for such small storage space.

Why are you filling your cards? Online purchases can be deleted and redownloaded. I just keep the 4 or 5 that I'm currently playing on the card, the rest? Back to the cloud!

When you delete a game on the Vita, doesn't it delete the save?

Never thought of that...I'd hope you can separate the two.
