unfortunately you need the figure on the base and base connected via Bluetooth to play ... not exactly portable gaming

Questions would be asked on the tube! But presumably toy box saves carry over to home consoles?

I am enjoying the Vita version so far. Graphics are a little choppy, but I care more about the fun of the game more than how it looks. This is especially good when I have limited time where I could actually play this on a TV and if I do, one of the kids always wants to play too and may fuss about different playsets, so I can have dedicated time to learn the game.
One comment that was a little strange for me. I was playing the Vita version for a while, then I jumped on my PS3 with one of the kids and I was like whoa this controller is huge after getting used to the size of the Vita.

So you have to manually upload toy box saves from the vita?

Hey all, got a quick question regarding the PS Vita game. I picked it up for my son to use on our Vita and he is enjoying it. But, most times he starts the game up it makes him watch the intro with Aladdin and Donald Duck at the beginning. I'm logged in to my Disney account and I asked him to save a nonsense toy box so he did 'something' within the game on the Vita to make it 'think' it's not the first time he is logging into it on the Vita.

Any thoughts/tips as to what is going on? I'm probably missing something stupid so thanks for any help.

I believe you have to save in an actual play set for it to move beyond the intro. I'm not 100% but I would try that.
