if i buy the PS Vita version of it, then can i use the PS Vita also as controler for the PS4, right?
Or is that already possible?

That's already possible via remote play iirc. I asked about a Microsoft version and someone said ps4 and vita can do it already :)

Anyone else surprised at just how late in the 2.0 cycle this release is? The the time it lands the announcement for 3.0 would be imminent.

I guess they made the decision to do a port pretty late in the development of the console version. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3.0 announced before that date.

^MightyGitis, I'm afraid they may be a little 'late to the party' with this one. I was going to get it early on but I'm not 100% anymore, I'll have to play it by ear and wallet lol. Maybe wait a bit and take advantage of an eventual sale etc.

Something tells me JV And friends were forced to market with the 2.0 release, possibly before they felt ready.

This could explain a few anomalies in their release schedule like this one.

Given the release of Star Wars in mid December, I'm hoping they will take a little longer and go for an October or November release this year instead of September. Black Friday / Cyber Monday perhaps?

I for one would like to see a belter managed release schedule for the follow up characters next round. This one has been a dog's breakfast.

Back on topic - it wouldn't surprise me at all if 3.0 was announced to coincide with the release of the Vita version - that and the availability of the 2 final power discs.

It would give them something tangible for consumers to buy now to really maximise their marketing dollars.
Cheers,

I wish they would sell the symbiote spider-man separatly, he would make a great edition to my collection.

I am really looking forward to this release. I have yet to get my PS3 fixed or replaced, so this will be my chance to finally play 2.0.

I just wish Nova could be purchased separately.
