Falcon and Loki: Release date moved up!

For those of us in Australia, we usually have to wait for the USA and UK to get things first.

Seems this will not be the case for Loki and Falcon this time.

Disney's own website lists the availability of these characters as March 23rd, 2015

However, a few local retailers here in Australia are advertising an earlier availability of March 9th, 2015

Now it could just be a Marketing ploy - however I've usually found these dates pretty accurate from these retailers.

What I really want to know though is how to get my hands on the 2 new Power Discs. So far, JV has been relatively tight-lipped about it - but it would seem there's an announcement pending based on his recent tweets.

Hang about, it seems GameStop are releasing Falcon and Loki on 2nd March, 2015 in the USA ...

Something tells me that bringing forward this release has to do with damage control on #trongate. Perhaps they are even planning to release the Tron figures in April, and didn't want the releases to be too close together?

I'm guessing we'll get the "Toy Box Tales" in April or May, and they may use Sam and Quorra to launch it. Who knows!

Only a week or so then and someone will have all figures and discs so will see all unlocks, can't wait

What is this "Toy Box Tales" you speak of?

Apparently at DICE, a couple of the guys from the DI team mentioned they will soon be launching episodic content for the Toy box called "Toy Box Tales". I imagine it will be something like mini Playsets or Disney authored Toy boxes with more story-telling embedded. Sounds very good, and would be the perfect lead in to 3.0, where I imagine they are gearing up for more of this type of experience. I'm only speculating, but I think they would do well from a subscription product for "premium" toy boxes - for example, for $10/mth you get a new episode every week.
