^we are upset (some of us anyway) but its not right everyone attacking jv. At the time when he said about the figures they were went to be coming (however things change but that was out of his control I'm sure).
as for play sets they consider the toy box game discs as play sets (which I don't consider play sets but thats what they are supposed to be).

I love jv as he answers our questions but after all this with 2.0 I'm sure he will be more tight lipped.
He's as excited about the game as we are. I've invested a lot and hope 3.0 is what 2.0 should have been. I don't expect anything from 3.0 except that they do a Disney playset. and that all bugs get patched (or at least works the way it should).

JV seems like a guy who is proud of the game his company has produced and gets really excited about every little aspect of it, and wants to support the fans. Unfortunatly this time it backfired.

My guess on Tron is that they planed on releasing the figures, then something happened. Production problemes maybe, or they proved more popluar then expected and it was decided to milk it some more. And then someone came up with the not so brilliant idea of digital exclusive.

I do believe that we'll get figures with 3.0, but they will come with a bitter aftertaste.

DI 1 was a bigger hit then expected, and 2.0 feels like a bigger money grab than the first. If they're not careful they'll ruin this game by trying to cash in fast.

Worst of it.. the code is there. They exist on the console versions...but no figure to unlock them. Seems like a huge waste of effort.

@fixitfelix the figure data isn't on the disc (or at least wasn't when I looked) only the stature data was there

The models aren't..but the scripts for their movements, weapons,etc are there.

I think we're getting a little off topic here...

Anyway, this was probably just a test to see if it was successful. It wasn't, and that's the end of it. Trial and Error.
They will most likely be released by 3.0, like Infinite (Crystal) Sorcerer Mickey.
