First look: Disney Originals Power Disc Album

$25 seems like a lot, even with the discs no?

Yeah its technically $2.50 more than it should be.

Strange selection of power discs... I would not have expected the King Louie disc to be a frontrunner.

Too bad it didn't hold 42 disks so the toy box discs could fit. With the Marvel album, they hold 21 each, so if you get 2 of them, everything fits.

Technically speaking, there will be 44 Disney power discs when the Aladdin sky/texture & the TRON light cycle and jet are released. On the Marvel side, we are still waiting for the Falcon costume and the Ms. Marvel team-up discs to release, then the Marvel albums won't have space for the toy box game discs.

Personally, I'm still holding out for Disney themed power disc capsules for my Disney 2.0 discs.

I can't help but think back to the old panini sticker albums from when I was a kid....GiJoe, Transformers, NHL, Ghostbusters etc. Definitely the main draw of the albums, to tap into that nostalgia.

I'm also beginning to lean more and more to those power disc capsules, they take up less space and to me it seems easier to acces them too. Those power discs will always be something with the albums... Third wave of first game didn't receive one, now those extra Marvel discs and even Disney ones like the Tron cycle.

I spoke to a Target employee today who said this should be in stores "in a couple of days".

No idea if this is true, but he knew exactly what I was talking about when I asked him.
