Speaking of, I wish the themes changed more of the scenery items. I grant that they can't do everything, but I'd at least like to see things like the hedges be customized.

I don't think they even use discs. I've seen developer gameplay where all the disc items and such are unlocked and available from their menu.
Probably just a mistake as it can be hard to keep track what's on a disc or not if you're not using them.

Yea most likely these get recorded during the development (not the bit jv and Alison normally do but the toy box clips) and at the time could have been for discs before they changed their minds
