Crystal Mickey isn't a Toys R US exclusive like the 1.0 crystals.

The repainted figure and PS Vita news aren't "connected", they were both just part of the conference call.

A crystal figure has a different in game appearance.

I'm not sure if these two things quoted are connected... I have a feeling that since Infinity has a deal going with Sony (the collectors edition complete with the Limited-Edition base) they may come up with some kind of other limited-edition display base.. Guardians or Spider-Man? (I would personally love a base with spots for all of the Disney Toy Box (2.0) characters with a glow up Cinderella castle). But it could be something that makes it easier to play (since the Vita is portable), like having a portable base, or a Disney Infinity shell case for the Vita (not sure if that's a thing??). A figure TIMED exclusive could be possible, which I think they will do to hype up the buying of it even more.

I'm really hoping this isn't for Crystal Sorcerer Mickey, since he fits the criteria of a repainted figure, with new appearance in game, and available for retail sale (and already has a spot in the HOH? ). Crystals have been the only type of "repaints" Infinity has ever had, so it's either Crystal mickey, or Infinity is trying something totally new (which I'm all for). Knowing how much control Marvel had over what characters were playable, what power disc could be used, etc. I don't know if they would even allow a repaint of one of their figures .

I'm not a big fan of Crystals, since all I have is Sulley (and think he is a waste), so I'm hoping it won't be another crystal (after Mickey). I THOUGHT the team said they were done making Crystal for 2.0?

Just my opinion on the whole thing.

I don't think it will be symbiote spider-man just because there's already a costume disc. I don't think it will be any figures that already have costume discs.

I'm really hoping for it to be a Disney Original character like classic Maleficent but Marvel would be pretty cool too!

As much as I love her Coronation outfit, that'd require a different model, not just a repaint. As much as I want 2099 or US Agent, we'll probably get Maleficient.

Outside runners here but maybe heart print Randall or dinocco lightning McQueen?

Given that we've found out Loki is releasing much later than the rest of the villains I could see it being him.
