Anything from the expo yet?

I was there yesterday. Not much in news.

They were just giving out Marvel power disc packs and chances to win Marvel Figures. I wish I had extra time to wait in line to spin the wheel at a chance to win a figure(would have wanted Venom, one of the few marvel figures I really want). Many people were winning figures. Could also win more power disc packs among other things I can't remember. Plus of course you could play the 2.0 game.

I was able to get a power disc pack...Gamora and Nick Fury. Wasn't really interested in those particular discs so I gave them to someone else who was wanting them.

There was also another booth on the opposite end promoting Big Hero 6 where they also had those DI figures on display and set up on a 2.0 base with game play footage.

The reps didn't seem to know too much about the Disney Starter and were not even aware of its release date.

Did you at least play the game?

I wanted to play, but unfortunately did not have time as all the booths were currently occupied
I wanted to come back again after to play, hopefully win a figure and have another go at getting some power discs, but time was not on my side

That is why depending on next year, I might get a 2-day pass because this year I was way too rushed. Too much to see and do, at least for me, in just one day.

I did watch some others playing though. Better than nothing. Believe me, I wish now I had played. I did get to play the new Mortal Kombat X game at least!

And yes I gave the power discs away to a friend of mine lol. The two discs were of characters/powers I didn't really have any interest in and probably wouldn't have used. I'm mostly a Disney Originals guy, unless its Spidy or XMen related....give or take a few other Marvel characters I'm a fan of.

Haha some of us are the collect everything no matter what types who couldn't possibly give new stuff away, but it makes sense in your case

I'm not sure if it is the right topic, but are they at PAX Prime right now?

I was hoping between the two events we would hear some new news... I have scoured the internet looking for something... Not a peep about either shows that I have found.
