^Well, I know that I will be having a second player for the majority of the game, so I would need two of the discs.

What I like about the discs is that they can give less-skilled players a boost if for whatever reason they struggle with the game.

What I don't like about the discs is their pricing and blind packaging. I can't believe that it's 5 dollars for just TWO discs, and you don't even know which ones you're getting. I have a feeling that while a number of people here will be able to get most (if not all) of the figurines, collecting all of the power discs will be an arduous and unrealistic task for all but the most dedicated of collectors.

I agree that I don't like the blind pack aspect, but that's because where I live this kind of socialising, trading thing, etc. is uncommon outside of primary schools, so I don't imagine trading discs to be existent here. But I do enjoy it because I'll be able to trade with others on this board, and the satisfaction of getting a full set would be awesome. I dislike getting doubles, but at least I'll be able to stack them to get extra power(my OCD will probably force me to get two sets just for that  ). It's bittersweet to me, more sweet than bitter, but I can easily see why someone would dislike this because it's a chance investment into an already expensive game.

Seems fine to me, the blind pack idea isn't so good, but, hey, disney infinity is for kids and kids like trading (I'm one I like trading).

^Nothing is better than showing your friends that you have a Holographic Level X Team Galactic's Palkia.
So yes, trading is plenty of fun, and I'm just waiting for a friend of mine to get the game.

^Unfortunately your post has been edited.

Also, it would be great to have a friend who has it for trading!

I can't say I love the idea, but I understand it and I think it's manically genius. Disney has essentially looked at every successful children's market over the past 20 years and found a way to combine them into a money printing machine. We have videogame, toy, and trading card like atmospheres all rolled into one. I think the pricing is a little over the top for getting only 2 discs, however I don't think it's outrageous enough for parents to say no when they are checking out at the store and there kid grabs a pack in line. As a player I think it will be a little annoying to constantly switch between discs when I want to change something, even more annoying when I want that tron sky but cant get lucky enough to obtain it in a pack, but I have already come to terms with the fact that if I want to invest in this game, I will have to REALLY invest.
