Where to get articulation parts?

This is something that has been bugging me for a while now.

Now, I've been making Skylanders customs lately, and I want to articulate some(to the point I have chopped a few up... Hidden Treasure only needs a hinge now). BUT! I have no parts TO articulate with.

Like, really, I don't even have extra figures -that I'm willing to wreck- lying around. I'm settled for paints and can get sequin, stings, and other stuff easily enough, but still really lost on this subject... And was planning to make some for Infinity. Any suggestions?

(If you're going to suggest a physical store to get them from, please make sure that the store is actually in Australia!)

Suggestions for where I can get differently-sized magnets to allow holding/removal of items would also be useful but are not high priority.
