It's incredibly annoying with the exclusives in the UK. I bought most of them from the USA, (6 come with the gold capsule). I have unfortunately set myself the impossible task of trying to find sealed examples of the 10 exclusives in UK packaging, still need 4 (zurg, hooks ship, tron user, and merlin). I never saw zurg or tron user at retail as they sold out before I started collecting in December. Merlin is available for any UK competitions organized through disney interactive UK I believe, so hopefully there will be more opportunities for getting a copy in the UK pack, (if you're not bothered about the packaging, get it from ebay, it's recently been released in the US and there's a flood of them).

The messaging around the waves and exclusives has been a disaster in my eyes. I really hope they change tact for the next time.

No, everyone knows they are both exactly the same. There is absolutely no difference between the Argos exclusive and the Series 2 one. I just got two Argos ones, one for my Series 1 album, one for my Series 2 album.

Everyone within the inner circle which I'd imagine does not make up the vast majority of players. I wouldn't just assume everyone understands this stuff.

on the subject of the Hooks ship power disc, there is a difference between the two, however it's an incredibly minute one. The serial number on the back is one number different! Ive posted it previously but can't find my original post confirming, will have a little check around.

EDIT* found em

Toys R us exclusive (from Gold Capsule Pack):
Model # INF-4000026 T21774392 3713

Series 2 Rare from Blind Pack:
Model # INF-4000026 T21774392 3613

Sorry Sheriff :) , back on topic, if anyone knows if there are still any Argos, Smyths or Game stores with Hook's Ship, Zurg or Tron User Control respectively, in stock, I would be most grateful (i know chance are extremely slim).

I think the Bristol Smyths store might have had one or two Zurgs in stock. And last time I went in there, my GAME still had LOADS of User Controls. I think it's because people saw gold packs and were like, "OMG, rare discs, I'm gonna buy five!" Then they were all the same so people traded them in. But yeah, check the preowned discs. Otherwise, I recommend trying your local CeX store or their website uk.webuy.com. If you don't wanna buy online their store will order stuff in for you. It's a bit more expensive, but it may be better than ebay!
