@braiko AFAIK the only way to get would be to order the packs from GameStop USA (ordering multiple doesn't change the price of postage) so ordering a few and sharing with other aus folks to split costs

@braiko I ordered one for myself and several others to sell on eBay to help offset the cost. Got mine for free that way. :)

EB Games are advertising Disney Infinity 3.0 starter kit for preorder at $99.95.

That seems very expensive to me and I would expect Target and Big-W to sell them highly discounted on launch. No sign of EB pre-order bonuses yet either but I haven't been in store yet to ask.

Waiting to see what comes of a potential collector's edition. As you say, Big W or Target will probably have the base starter closer to the $70 mark.

I did the same last year as I have for 3.0
I have ordered one of everything from EB Games and then on launch day, I will walk in with catalogues from each store and get EB to price match - which they are more than happy to do.. They also accept web adverts and photos (for 1.0, I walked in with pictures of all the stock on the shelves at KMart as they broke street date and EB matched that too).

Ah yes - I remember you mentioning that last year, it is a good strategy especially if EB Games have a pre-order bonus. If they don't have one, then I'll just grab everything from Target as soon as I see it :)

So I'm thinking of breaking down and buying the Vita pack and the rare power disc pack from Gamestop US. Might buy a couple of extra rare disc packs to try and recoup some of the cost. Any ideas on what to do with the Vita starter items? (I don't even own a Vita). I doubt I could trade it in anywhere as the game doesn't exist in Australia...

@braiko - I bought mine from ozgameshop.com for less than $80 delivered.

I don't own a Vita (or a PoS4 either), but definitely wanted black suit spidey for my collection. I'm also not sure what to do with the rest of the stuff when I get it. I'm thinking I'll donate it to someone, along with a second copy of the Prima guide I happen to have.

Pay it forward, and all that.

According to the press release, we have to wait an extra week for the release of 3.0
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come... the final two discs were not released in Aus, neither were the power disc folders and so far, no one has heard of the PS4 exclusive Boba Fett release.
Please don't forget us Disney!
