Toronto. Bought at the Yonge/Eglington location.
I had to ask them to get it - all the packages out in store were the Mike's Car ones. I fortunately asked a guy who was helpful and knowledgeable and he went underneath to grab a box of the new stuff.

I called in advance and they wouldn't check the SKU's for me. Toys R Us said there was only one type of pack there. I got there and there were absolutely no gold packs, not even one with Mike's Car in them. There were only normal packs.
It looks like I'm going to have to buy the Tron Disc online from eBay.

My TRU got them after 3 yesterday as a drop shipment. Odds are all the other stores will get them sometime next week
I would wait, there were A LOT on order just like for Mike's car.

Puddin': I'll wait then! I live in New Brunswick so maybe they haven't got here yet! I'll check back on Monday and then on Friday to see if the discs have arrived!
Exclusive TRU discs in Canada?

Has anyone been able to get the new Tron disc in Canada? My local TRU says it only came out in the US today.

Hey Puddin,
I was wondering in which city/store in Canada you got the new gold pack with Tron on it? I just went to both Metrotown and West Broadway Toys R Us and they only had the Mike's car version. The worst part is that they don't even know that a new batch will come and that the new batch is a new disc. I wish they could have it showing from outside of the package like in Australia. :/

Kingston, Ontario.
This new batch actually has a separate sku which will make it easier for stores to identify it.
I was also told that there is a second shipment placed for the series 1 exclusive, but my contact has no idea if it will be more of Mike's car or one of the other 8 exclusives. Whatever it is, it will share the sku with mike's car which will suck if it is a new power disc. Hopefully it will have a different upc that shares a sku. Like assorted series collectibles.
